Thanks, I’m surprised most people now get their news for free online, but glad that many know how to verify if something in is “true” using a web search tool.
If the news I get on one platform is reflective of a really bad day IRL, I stay off that platform for a few days and live IRL instead.

I’m pretty sure an Audit would largely find HUD housing funds under Continuum of Care have been granted only after due diligence, based on things like age (Senior Housing is for senior citizens for example), and maybe credit reports.
Whatever happened to Public Comment in this regime?

Tragic.

This would be tragic for HIV research.

Ugh. Thanks for the reporting.

This is the first time I’ve read that the words were changed. The “fight
like hell” version was showed during the DJT Impeachment hearings, and argued against by a large number of recordings of other politicians saying similar things during speeches over the years.

In the game of digital Whack A Mole, there’s a new account with his name which I just reported. His response to my message last night sounded straight out of AI. I reported it.

IRL, CNN on BlueSky has a list of their writers and he’s not on the list this morning.
Thanks.

The last I checked a few years ago, the Federal Government sends the cash (credit) to the USA Bank with the SNAP contract so it’s sitting in their account. That bank allocates it to the means tested and approved recipients. I’ve never heard of a claw-back being allowed. Bank has money not citizens.

It seems to me that normally, retail businesses would be hiring seasonal workers now, so the details are actually bleak…

Please consider calling or emailing your local food pantry and summarizing your situation and see if they have any volunteers who would be able to help get food to you. It’s not widely known but they sometimes can find a way (I did that myself from ‘17-‘20, only for a couple of families.)

Fascinating. I was diagnosed with FM back in 1985. By 2013 I decided it has to have a genetic link, but even looking at my genes (23andMe; and Promethese), I couldn’t figure it out. I’m glad this is being done by actual knowledge professionals! Thanks for the share!

I had a primary care doctor tell me that when finally, after forty years of trying to figure out the cause of my anterior neck pain, it was written in so many words on the results of a CT scan. She happily (flippantly) smiled, waved her free hand around and proclaimed “we don’t treat that.”

Did F statistics replace p value, generally?
Can you please explain what F statistics are? TIA.

Thanks for writing the summary in your post.
I started reading about post-viral syndrome way back in 1985 but most people haven’t been reading about the problems viruses cause. Vaccines help!
