I would prefer he torpedoed the economy with price controls than tariffs, or how about letting crops rot in the fields, or no tax on tips because they will have to bus their own dishes.

If the president can get whats his name for secretary of defense he controls Repubs in Congress and therefore can get prices stabilized. The corporate greed needs to be checked.

My issue with the NIH-corporate arrangement is taxpayers invest billions into research, which is then “turned over” to for-profits to manufacture and distribute drugs. And, under the new admin the government is not even allowed to negotiate prices for those drugs on behalf of the taxpayer.

Beware the paper pushers Mark. Stephen Miller has produced in the last year every executive order that has bern signed since Trump took office. And he has plenty more ready for signature. Only so many hours in the day.

I couldn’t agree more. The next disaster was when Mitch lowered the bar on votes necessary to get Trump’s 3 nominees approved. None of them would be on the court if the rules had not changed.
