As it is with many species unfortunately it may be somewhat underreported here in Sweden as well though I think that with our terrible forestry practices it's not and will never be commonly occurring. I do wish for more books on liverworts here, the best work (Damsholt) is now old and out of print.

I recognize that situation, sometimes it is really difficult to make a confident identification.

I think the new Flora of lichenicolous fungi vol 2 includes at least some species in that genus.

It makes it hard to spot, photograph and collect the little buggers when they are covered in snow or frozen. But it was a lovely #lichen day here as well.

Agreed, I've seen it here in sweden but it's really rare. Candelaria I see more often.
