The mail brought news, everyone!
An idyllic forest background at dusk frames a UFO in the process of abducting 4 people. There is text across the top (in one type of wannabe fancy font) that says "The Rapture is Coming..." and alongside the UFO, "It won't be Aliens" To note, the word "aliens" is a different font that I guess they thought was space-y? How my hyperfixations tend to manifest: Cast on to on the blocking mat in ~36 hours.

I bought a skein of this GORGEOUS yarn at Flock & Fiber a few weeks ago, with zero idea what to do with it other than snuggle it. Random stash diving came up with this off-white speckled sock yarn. Put together, this might be the prettiest thing ever (yarn/pattern in alt txts) #knitting 🧶
a skein of yarn - Fiber content 70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere - in dark blues, purples, pinks and black, dyed by Forty Winks Fibers a knitted shawl, alternating stripes of a cream-ish yarn and the prettyPretty one, the colourful rows have a wrap/drop stitch in the middle to give it a more open look and show off the colour better (pattern: Van Gogh shawl, Tall Tree Designs)

Ok, seriously, what the actual fuck is with all the HP collabs this year?? If I pretend JK isn't a thing for like, 0.00002 seconds, even w/the new show, I don't get it? It's a ridiculous amount of things for a new property, let alone an old one. And these don't even look good? The hat looks like 💩.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts collab with the Potter, the gryff & huffle look filled, raven & slyth boring rings, each topped in icing that has to taste like colour, it's so dye-saturated. There is also a "mystery" hat of sadne...er...sorting that looks like a seeded burger bun w/a pile of poop (toasted marshmallow, I hope?) on top, or you can buy a box of one each of these monstrosities, if you hate yourself and your taste buds.
