You really can’t conclude much from that study, for a variety of reasons. And not to mention some major conflicts from apparently questionable authors..

I get that. It’s in a similar vain. Sci Advances is much better, IMO, even if similar. iScience>SciRep too in that respect. multidisciplinary but still has some measure of impact and importance. But you’re right that they’ll probably accept things for the 💰 or publish them in Heliyon…

Haven’t read it all either, but this last sentence of the abstract is a doozy. There’s just no way to conclude that from these experiments.. a bit surprising as my exp w/ iScience has been good. CellPress journals usually pretty thorough but obv some stuff slips through the cracks.. 🙃
