Daily Dog Detail #2 Contrary to popular belief, dogs are not color blind. They can see yellow and blue. This explains why dogs were always hanging around Blockbuster Video stores in the 90s.

If you love dogs like I do, please order a copy of Death Dog #1 from @ahoycomicmags.bsky.social !

I've been a Fantastic Four fan since I was 4 years old and my parents left me at home with a babysitter and a copy of FF 159. I couldn't read much, but I loved the art and proceeded to cut out all my favorite pictures of the Thing. So it's pretty exciting when I see a Fantasticar.

More pics from the Fantastic Four premiere. The Fantasticar is so fantastic. I want it.

I had the pleasure of attending the world premiere of Fantastic Four: First Steps on Monday. As a lifelong FF fan, this was something of a dream come true. And I really enjoyed the movie as well - certainly the first time I've been able to say that about a Fantastic Four movie!

Apparently, Jimi Hendrix spent a LOT more time practicing guitar than practicing with his rifle when he was in the army. Thankfully.

Which Lois Lane Robot is your favorite?

One of my favorite comics as a kid ended with the Thing and Sandman drinking beers in the Thing's hospital room. Anyone know which comic book I'm talking about?

Unsurprisingly, Grant Morrison wrote a wildly imaginative, hilarious, densely detailed chunk of prose to get AHOY's serialized story started and I had a terrific time playing in the sandbox they hammered together and filled with charming grains of sand.

Last night I watched the superb 2017 French documentary on Jack Kirby's experiences as part of the Allied forces liberating France in 1944. I recommend it to anyone interested in Jack Kirby, comic books, or harrowing, personal tales of war. It's on the Freevee app so it's free...
