Thank you for making those conversations known to the wider public @benwikler.bsky.social! People need a better idea of the representation they send to the legislature!

I think the biggest reason people are saying TikTok should actually be legally banned is the risk it provides a back-end access for Chinese security services to gather data on U.S. citizens.

Of course the true cause for the push to ban could have something to do with lobbying from Meta, X, etc...
