And don't be afraid of maintenance, it's really not that bad. Especially on a new/almost new game. If you don't want to deal with it at all that's totally reasonable, I'm sure you have some good technicians in your area.

In my opinion, you will wind up disappointed if you try to pick a machine without having stood in front of it and played a good 10+ games on it. Many times I have had a preconception of how I would enjoy a game; to then be deeply surprised, good or bad, after walking up to one and really playing it.

Go play as many games on location (check pinballmap.com) as you can, and decide based on where your heart takes you. Can't go wrong that way. There sadly will never be one single perfect title for you that scratches every itch and ticks every box. But you can definitely get close.
