This is horrifying. My heart is broken, but also feels so empty. I'm starting to fill that emptiness with hate. I am so tired of all of this. I don't think anyone can convince me that humanity is inherently good. We are evil and we always will be.

I stayed up all night when Russia invaded Ukraine, and the same on October 7th, 2023. I’ve seen multiple wars and atrocities in Africa and Asia as well. Now, 37, I am watching my country bomb Venezuela. I don’t think I’ve seen a moment of peace in this world since I have been alive.
