Listening in on a Nikkei Forum that involved Pottinger, Campbell, and Akiba, I wanted to see how their interactions would be given the canceled 2+2 meeting between the US and Japan

Everyone basically pushed for closer US-Japan ties, celebrating the recent US Steel deal

Ah yes, publicly displaying distrust towards your biggest ally in Asia to criticize your political opponents is exactly the type of foresight and selflessness that the US needs now
