I've been to many places this past week.
Given I don't have a huge following on Threads, I'm slightly disturbed that among my posts, Meta's algorithms decided to push a post about my deceased cat. There are many happier posts from me that the algorithms could have pushed to other people's feeds but chose to focus on one of tragedy instead.

Our oldest family cat, Oreo, passed away at age 18 this weekend. Despite her declining health this past year, she remained quite active for her age. While I don't allow myself to mourn an animal the same way I do a person, I have to admit I did shed a tear or two myself. Goodbye my friend.

I've been going back and forth on this one. It really makes no sense to me to have abandoned X only to look at the worst of the worst screenshots from X in my feed here on Bluesky. I'm thinking of modifying my choice from Warn to Hide. Thoughts?
