Years ago we saw a Pooh encounter get rained out and while he was walking and waving his entourage was yelling at everybody nearby "GET CLEAR HE WILL HIT YOU WITH HIS UMBRELLA," which I know is because those suits impair your vision, but I much prefer to think he was exceedingly vicious

A Light in the Woods book one: hidden hollow by Radical Face. Spooky stuff. Does some really neat things with meter/entrainment. The first song feels like a very slow duple until 60% through when you can suddenly feel it's actually in 9/8. The last song layers multiple divisions of the pulse.

Nine Sols OST. I'm once again on my shit with Nine Sols, this time because it sounds incredible. The sounds and textures are overwhelmingly cool, the melodies are heartwrenching, and it has some of the coolest boss themes in recent memory. It immediately tells players that this game is for real.

Chromakopia by Tyler the Creator. Combines the out-there production of Igor with the rambling vulnerability of Call Me If You Get Lost. Tyler's music is really efficient about drawing you immediately into its sound space, as basically every song here demonstrates.

Dance Fever by Florence + the Machine. The rare perfect album. Genre: Witch. Bounces between deliriously happy and furious. The timbral variety in the vocals alone is staggering. Lyrically gripping, frequently drawing on Christian imagery with a mix of reverence and disdain.
