it’s ok to admit that you don’t know what you don’t know without jumping to conclusions based off of extremely limited information.

if the truth of the situation is that one day, jag and jas decided that taylor is in charge of diversity in the bb community and needs to do more, and confronted her about that, OBVIOUSLY that would be extremely out of line and bizarre. somehow, i doubt that’s the full story of how it went down.

that led me to the assumption that there is context missing for how and why this conversation happened. who is to say that this wasn’t intended to be a constructive discussion? who is to say that taylor didn’t facilitate this discussion? maybe she didn’t! but we know literally nothing!

normalize waiting for more context and information before jumping to the worst possible conclusion. i was also surprised to hear that they had a conversation like that because i agree she has done a lot AND it isn’t her responsibility. my instinct was “why go to taylor, of all people?!”

taylor sharing that she had prior conversations with them about how they “felt she dropped the ball in supporting diversity across the bb community” was not a carte blanche invitation to unload the hostility you already have towards them. i highly doubt that was her intent.

It will never change bc the show’s biggest stars are just as bad, if not worse. Even the ones who aren’t that way aren’t motivated to change the culture bc they see toxicity as par for the course and bringing entertainment and viewers, which in turn keeps the show on the air and lines their pockets
