Every time the river floods in Cincinnati I pray for the Newport Hooters barge to detach from the pier and become an autonomous state of pirate waitresses. I just think it’d make the world cooler.

Finished a first draft of a feature screenplay today. It sucks but trying to remember the point is to get it wrong to make it right. If things go well I wrote it to be shot on pretty much zero budget so fingers crossed it’ll be made someday by sheer force of will.

There were many small blows to my religious indoctrination as I grew up. I figured ‘sure, American Christianity is politically and socially toxic but the spirituality side is still okay’. The thing that broke me was heaven. Eternal consciousness is terrifying to me no matter how supposedly joyful.

Trialing the pomodoro technique for productivity. 25 minutes of a task then 5 minutes in the goblin cave for recovery. Repeat 4 times then 30 minutes of screaming at my reflection as a treat.
