She was the only one on that season that seemed to get his game. I thought he was so obvious, but I guess that's part of the intrigue.

Love Peter Ustinov. To think he was one time married to Angela Lansbury's brother in law and then worked with him on the set of Death on the Nile with her after the marriage ended.

Thank you. I can relate. Add ice cream and a comfy blanket and I'm in heaven.

Is it sad that "Morgan Freemond" was the first thing that came to my mind when Morgan Freeman came out to present In Memorium?

Thank you, Kyle!

Based purely on performance - Mikey Madison. That BAFTA win has had me switching back and forth between her and Moore in my predictions. The one thing that keeps me going with Moore is her fame factor, which doesn't seem to be present in comparable Best Actress races where the Madison comp won.

The acting dance between Gene Hackman and Nathan Lane during that sequence is masterful.

What if... there was a wife?

I'm gobsmacked. I'm sitting in a cafe on my lunch break reading your post. I'm glad you were the source I got the news from. The first movie I ever saw in the theater was Harriet the Spy. What a talent, and what a loss.

The ending made me do a deep dive on Mah Jong. It's such a fantastic scene with a truly wonderful build up. What a phenomenal cast that all understood and respected the assignment.

I skipped class in 2003 to go see this in the theater by myself. I hear the ending song on occasion in my head. I don't know why it stuck with me. Watching it now after Brittany Murphy's death makes it all the more devastating because I wish she had the same ending as Molly.

Same. This season has been rough. It's giving me Traitors Australia season 2 vibes. I'm hoping it will end the same way.

I met Jane at a book signing for her bio when I was 17. She gave me a hug. Sometimes, it's good meeting your heroes.

I'll call Murray if you call Cantwell.

I was rooting for Carolyn. I haven't watched her season of Survivor, so I am curious if you think the case she presented to Dylan about how she was on her season made sense. Did Danielle actually make solid points and show receipts?

This was me with The Office during Covid. I think I shed a tear when I found out Peacock had the super-sized episodes because it meant seeing more of my friends.
