Sad when American liberals would be "conservative" in any other industrial nation. Since when is a corporatist, not conservative? Otherwise, support employee owned companies and stakeholder ethics as the basis for corporate regulation

They complain that most educators are liberal. But you don't see them standing in line to help/teach others. Too much money to be made, stealing and cheating.

For the conservative, when you have everything, you also keep everything, even if stolen... If you are a conservative, you not only keep but insist you still don't have enough. You demand others feed your sick thirst and hunger.

Why would anyone admire a conservative? Conserve means "keep". They are power hungry hoarders, all of them, lest they wouldn't call themselves conservative. They hoard everything and shove their values on everyone. Some values, they only expect of others.

And thanks to a softball interview, many will just accept that Yarvin is correct. Marchese platformed at best as he failed to research and confront Yarvin intelligently
April 12, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Agreed, and Machese didn't even bother to research the excellent work others have done in debunking Yarvin. Marchese did an injustice, as people trust he did his research, when he didn't and the result is a Yarvin endorsement and platforming of his ideas unopposed
April 12, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Agreed, he basically endorsed Yarvin by so blatantly failing to object to even the most absurd ideas.

I was amazed how little effort he put into defending himself by email, if for no other reason, to get practical exercise in prep for another round with Yarvin. This is a journalist who needs to go hungry for a while, and never be allowed to interview a political extremist again, platforming him.

It is unacceptable to let him repeat the "CEOs are monarchs" bullshit. They are tiny microeconomies within paradigms at most, are working within complex regulation and successful only because they are supported by a huge, rich society, its educated workers and the fact they are paid. Capitalism.

The endless false analogies Yarvin made without firm objection, was bad enough. But worse, he clearly hadn't ever bothered to researched successful debunks from others against Yarvin. And when I confronted Marchese, he didn't deny that, only suggesting "85% of his fans agreed (with him)"
April 12, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Definitely a softball, and even when told in detail, why it was softball, Marchese doesn't even have the diligence to intelligently defend himself, which is basically what he did with Yarvin. He didn't bother. What little he confronted Yarvin, was knee-jerk, mild argumentation. Never did he disagree
