Nickel Boys is the film of the year and it’s a crime that it wasn’t nominated for Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Supporting Actress to go along with the two nominations it did receive (Best Director and Adapted Screenplay). The final ten minutes are a knockout.
