While prevention is a crucial goal, RFK Jr.'s track record of undermining vaccination programs (one of the most cost-effective prevention tools) makes this stance contradictory. He's ignorant to the fact that many infectious diseases cause chronic disease like HPV, HIV, Hepatitis B, etc. 5/

Great question! While a single mutation (like Gln226Leu) can improve H5N1’s ability to bind to human receptors, it would likely need multiple mutations to achieve sustained human-to-human transmission. Vigilance is key, but we’re not at that stage yet.

Great question! While a single mutation (like Gln226Leu) can improve H5N1’s ability to bind to human receptors, it would likely need multiple mutations to achieve sustained human-to-human transmission. Vigilance is key, but we’re not at that stage yet.
