My drive for #landscape #photography has waned significantly in the past few years. I do miss the excitement of showing up on site and getting incredible light. Or, in the case here, months of planning to get the moon over the lighthouse, the tide low and the skies clear and to have it all work out.

Many years ago, when I first started my photographic journey, I had a chance to visit Joshua Tree NP for a few hours. I was still learning the value of good light. I took hundreds of pics, but this was my absolute favorite. #landscape #photography #sunset #joshuatree #nationalpark

We got some snow last night, but not as much as 12 years ago on this day when we had over 20". I had taken this sunset photo in the woods not far from my home. The snow was so heavy it bent over all of these saplings. #landscape #photography #sunset #winter #newengland
