Full time Dad, and supporter of mediocre sports teams.
Brad did say at the start of the year that less inside 50s but quality ones may be better. So far the club has delivered one side of that equation..!

It’s going to make for some interesting selection choices when everybody is back and fully fit; Jones, Bryan, Laverde, and Prior could all be spending time in the VFL.

…. Do I want to know who the one win was against?

Look out for Mercedes at imola at this time of year; their car is great at switching the tires on in cold weather, so a smoky there. Monaco may be tough for Oscar too, but the 5 GP after that all favour the McLaren (prior to upgrades of the other contenders).

Menzie is surprising; does a lot of small stuff (good), but his time as the sub may have helped that? We do seem to be good at running out games, and while not fast, he is a man possessed when he comes in as the sub.

SEH will be in the mix too.

Stupid question…. Why the conservative uptick in Canada post Trade Wars: The Orange Menace?

This tweet has aged very well. Alarmingly prophetic.

While he’s had his own form issue, you can’t underestimate the impact Harry’s condition would have had on him either.

Last night was the buckets we know, and we’re all glad to see it.

Blake Justice is an incredible football name. Hats off to him!

Is it a musical about the everlasting beauty of tariffs?

AFL app has Setters with a 42% disposal efficiency. From what you saw, is that legit? The number alone lacks context.

Hawthorn has Carlton’s first rounder as well, so Melbourne’s poor start has me wanting the blues to win one or two to get the pick ahead.

And yes, that feels dirty.

Not a fan either, but in the case of El-Hawli, it is Ramadan, so being sub at least gives him a chance to hydrate somewhat before he gets on the field.
March 27, 2025 at 8:12 AM
Not many changes to react to, really. Hopefully Saad is in the 22, not sub.

Having said that, I don’t imagine a lot of bikie gangs will have betting apps.

Haven’t watched it yet (I will), but the US has come from the other end of the spectrum as us, in that most gambling was illegal until recently. My concern is that if we crack down like we did on tobacco, it could drive more to an illegal route.

Could even see 3 if the coaches think that the difference Jones offers is worth more than the on ball presence of Hobbs.
March 17, 2025 at 8:29 AM
I (happily!) stand corrected.
March 16, 2025 at 7:35 AM
I doubt there’s a stat to prove it, but Kako might be the first to get a goal from his first kick without first taking possession of the ball.
March 15, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Jasper isn’t t wrong about Watson drawing more high free kicks than Kako, but Jesus it’s shit football.
March 14, 2025 at 11:07 AM
The real question is “is it Ka-Ko, Kay-Koh, or Kak-oh?!”
March 11, 2025 at 7:45 AM
I rate Chadstone Westfields above both of them.

He also lies about basically everything, which is the same reason people vote for him - it’s easy to construct a version of Trump that they can relate to.

However, the two big problems here are a) he’s been incredibly consistent about tariffs, and b) he’s already had 1 term of chaos. Why change?
