I too am becoming more and more convinced that Trump is just plain nuts. We are entering King Lear and King George territory, and his supporters seem to be oblivious.

This ought to be a blaring siren warning. Disposal of empathy allowed the Nazi regime to do horrible things. Trump and Musk are already identifying the useless: immigrants, DEI hires (women, blacks, the handicapped, and other minorities who have aspirations), LGBTQ+ people, the mentally ill.

Never mind that he and his coconspirators are the ones laying the groundwork for such an emergency themselves. They don't care about our welfare at all.
