We should be considering that he is intentionally breaking the economy so that he can exert more personal control over it, thereby using that control to do more to corruptly grift off the system he’s forcing on us. Nothing in his policies this year suggests anything else.

Throughout history the politician most effective at using the media of the era has been rewarded. Social media is designed to promote attention seekers and rage baiters, at the expense of everything else. And in Trump it’s found its perfect, depraved champion.

He's the most transparently immoral person I can recall in American public life. Anyone who thinks we can immerse ourselves in his depravity for years on end and not pay a dear price as a society and culture isn't being honest.

He is systematically dismantling the US economy with terrible policies, and the entirety of the Republican Party is standing by watching it happen--condoning the daily lies--in violation of every shred of economic sense they ever had. Will never, ever, ever, ever trust any of them again.
