My goal has been to remain positive and supportive on this platform….. and I want to say I positively support the movement to F**** Trump and those who made it possible for the Big Beautiful BS bill to be passed and to reopen the government without any true solution to the Affordable Care Act!

So am I missing something ? Most people I know utilize their social security at retirement. Most people as they age regardless of how well they did when they were working need assistance. So why are we not seeing more enragement over the take over of federal funds ?

One day after the White House environmental justice website went dark, please join me in welcoming the father of environmental justice to Bluesky. Yes, sociologist @drrobertbullard.bsky.social literally defined the concept in his 1990 book, Dumping in Dixie: Race, Class and Environmental Quality.
Dr. Robert D. Bullard (@drrobertbullard.bsky.social)
Scholar, author of 18 books, co-chair of @NBEJN1, @EJHBCU Climate Change Consortium, Director of @BullardCenter and father of environmental justice. #HBCU

I have been soaking myself in nature these last few days and taking a break from current events. Humans are a small part of the planetary system and often forget the system will carry on whether we do or not. Even in climate change some form of the system will survive in spite of us.

Compartmentalization. This is key to surviving these next years. Being able to stay true to yourself and not being drawn into the drama is paramount. By maintaining control of our own psyche we do not give power to that which does not deserve power.
