Do not just march. Listen. Act. Commit. It was a wonderful #AntwerpPride this year. Always great to see dear friends again 😍🌈. A celebration, but also a protest, because in so many places #LGBTQI+ rights are under pressure. And we are only safe when the whole world is safe 💪🏾🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️.

Do not just march. Listen. Act. Commit. Het was een fijne #AntwerpPride dit jaar. Altijd leuk om de lieve vrienden terug te zien 😍🌈. Feest maar ook betoging want op heel veel plaatsen staan #LGBTQI+ rechten onder druk. En we zijn pas veilig als de hele wereld veilig is 💪🏾🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️.

Het #leerkrachtentekort in Brussel is geen tijdelijke uitdaging, maar een structureel probleem. Het is ook groter dan in Antwerpen / Gent en dus vraagt Brussel een specifieke aanpak: onze ketjes hebben recht op goed onderwijs en dat kan alleen als je voldoende leerkrachten hebt. #VergeetBrusselNiet

Vandaag riepen bijna 100 Nederlandstalige Brusselse basisscholen minister Zuhal Demir op om Brussel niet te vergeten. Om 11 uur maakten leerlingen vd 3 netten samen – GO!, katholiek, stedelijk / gemeentelijk onderwijs – hartjes om uitzonderlijke maatregelen te vragen tegen het #leerkrachtentekort.

Israel openly uses the result this way too, thus openly politicizing the contest. Had #Israel won the contest, next year’s #EurovisionSongContest would have faced a major crisis — and that might have been the end of this most important unimportant but oh-so-enjoyable festival. #ESC

The fun thing about the #EurovisionSongContest is that it’s the most important unimportant competition there is. You cheer for your country, talk about how the show seems more important than the song and then you lose and say, “We’ll win next year.” And no one is really angry. It’s just a game. #ESC
