Assortment of Christmas themed items again a faux pine garland with pinecones and red berries laid on a white knit blanket. The ornaments are either shaped like, or have a photo of the Clifton Suspension Bridge on them. There is a laser-cut wooden decoration with a cut-out of the bridge, a ceramic ornament shaped like the bridge and illustrated in blue ink, an ornament shaped like a snowglobe and one shaped like a wreath, both featuring images of the bridge in winter. There are also two fabric-covered books of Christmas stories, a Christmas tree scented candle and a blue knitted scarf.

It's been 11 years, but we'll never be over the fireworks display to celebrate 150 years since the #CliftonSuspensionBridge was opened.

It would be incredible to do something like this again, maybe for the 200th anniversary 🎆

We're excited to announce that #CliftonSuspensionBridge Museum is up for an award at this year's Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards! Our Underground Lantern Tour is a finalist in the Active & Learning Experience of the Year category. We couldn't be more proud of the our team of storytellers!

The photo has been hand-coloured, as was the style, so the trees appear a muted green, both towers of the bridge and the abutment are red and the caps on the towers are yellow. It appears to have been done in a hurry or by a relatively unskilled person, as the lines are not crisp and the colours quite simple.

📣 Bridge Closure 📣

The #CliftonSuspensionBridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic this weekend from 7:00pm on Friday 5 September until 7:00am on Monday 8 September. Pedestrians will still be able to walk across the bridge using the north footway and the museum will be open as usual.

📣 #BalloonFiesta Bridge Closure

If you're from Bristol, you already know what's coming, but just in case... The #CliftonSuspensionBridge will be closed to everyone (vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians) Friday 8 Aug. and Saturday 9 Aug. from 6:00pm until midnight for the Night Glows.

Bridge Closure 📣

The #CliftonSuspensionBridge will be closed to vehicles and cyclists all weekend from 7:00pm tonight until Monday at 7:00am. Pedestrians will still be able to cross using the north footway, but the bridge may be busier than normal.

A very special delivery to the #CliftonSuspensionBridge for the Gromit Unleashed 3 Art Trail.

But wait, it can’t be, it looks like a Norbot has joined the refurbishment team. This can’t end well.
The Gromit statue, the Bristol Barker, stands on a plinth in front of the old Toll Booth. He has a red striped face, blue polka dotted ears, a black nose, and graphic words related to Bristol painted all over him. Behind his is the Leigh Woods tower of the bridge, with an iron gate sporting a safety sign, with other safety signs on Harris Fencing further back. A safety sign hung on an iron gate. There is another safety sign hung on Harris Fencing behind the gate. The sign on the gate has been made up to appear real, but instead of real warnings reds: Site Safety Warning Neat and tidy work in progress Gnomes only beyond this point Hot tea much be consumed. It is meant to marry the real site signage and the Gromit statue. A safety sign hung on an iron gate with the Clifton Suspension Bridge covered in scaffolding in the background. There are other safety signs hung on Harris Fencing behind the gate. It is closer picture of the sign in the last picture.
