On the grand scale of irritation, I score 3 out of 10 for flags flying from lampposts and 2 out of 10 for different races appearing in advertisements. It’s not anything to do with racism. It’s how my mind works and I want to to see things orderly and accurately representing the way things are.

Entitlement implies a belief that one is inherently deserving of it without effort or merit, whereas a need is a deficiency that, if unmet, leads to a negative outcome. With many people feeling entitled the result is a smaller pie to share with those that need help.
