All the money is in doing the awful thing. And ambition has been compressed down to "getting lots of money." Since money directly controls politics, ambition is all pointed at money. There is no reason to do anything else except that it is the right thing. And look how DNC treats AOC for that.

I don't think we have held enough a % of the economic buying power in the interior design and appliance market yet to make an impact. I was under the impression that landlord gray, brushed metal appliances, and eggshell white everything started 25+ years ago when I was in high school.
