My headcannon has always been that when they reproduce naturally it makes mogwai but the water produces evil mogwi. Its definatly one of those films not to think too hard about

Its fasinating to me that ASL uses way more one handed signs esp when finger spelling whereas BSL uses both. Then it irritates me because I cant find out why lol

Oh for sure! And i quote pratchett-isms waaaaay more than I should like normal people quote philosophy and stuff. It probibly doesnt mean anything that I dont like sad endings to this extent. -sigh-its probibly the autism again. Incresingly ive found thats the reason for most things lol

You aren't wrong and in real life I try and affect a 'this too shall pass' attitude for good and bad stuff but for the fiction ill take ransom over braveheart and cast away over road to perdition just because "rocks fall everyone dies" is not a satifying ending (to me)

I think my issue is storytelling is escapist. Reality is full of "yeah and then they all died" endings so if i am to become emotionally invested in something i dang diddly dang want it to be happy. I know intellectually its supposed to make me sad but it just makes me angry
