THE TOWER OF CIRITH UNGOL

Four books to get to know me. (Non LORT edition)
Cormac McCarthy - Blood Meridian Red cover with gothic woodblock printed letters in white. Loved the descriptive writing in this book. NOT an endorsement of scalp hunting or the very nature of evil. Robert Jordan - The eye of the world - Book 1 of The Wheel of Time. Classic illustrated cover that perfectly captures the camp fantasy of WOT. Loved the world building and magic systems even if a lot of it is borrowed from Dune and LOTR. Sanderson nailed the landing on books 12-14 too. DUNE! The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin. Favourite contemporary trilogy. Rare to find a book with such great world building that is so light/easy to read (complimentary). Highly recommend this series if you haven't read it.

Four books to get to know me
Photograph of the 1965/6 LOTR and Hobbit paperbacks. Brightly saturated surrealist cover art. I don't have this edition/cover series, but my heart aches to own it (Along with the Tove Jansen Hobbit). I just downloaded a picture of all four in one shot because I am lazy. Also, I have read other books, I just really love LORTposting.
