The Steelers last Monday ran Jonnu Smith from the Rb position against the Dolphins in a blowout to get him a score

They don’t care. Unless the mass support for Wiles was to make sure he doesn’t fire her. He can do literally whatever he wants and none of them are going to stop him. As long as he’s not dead too many of them are afraid of him like young Anthony in the Twilight Zone ep “It’s a Good Life”…

Did you happen to realize that George put The Three Stooges in “A Game of Thrones”?

When you work for Trump no matter what your job title is or you stated responsibilities are, your actual job is to do whatever Trump tells you to do at that moment.

Agreed that it’s not hypocrisy. Their world view is “I can tell you what to do, but you can’t tell me what to do”. They’re very consistent. (h/t Ethan Grey on the quote)

His constituents are actually the lobbyists and donors as long as the people who vote will vote for any idiot/crook/both with an R next to their name

As a Hurricanes fan, I think the dumbest part of all this is that the Committee moved Alabama ahead of ND after squeaking out a win over a 5-7 Auburn team that got inside the Bama 30 with a chance to tie the game in the last minute.

The league’s tiebreaker system takes the teams’ conference opponents’ record into account. Because Miami only played one ACC team who had a record over .500 and Duke played 2, Duke ended with a slightly “tougher” ACC schedule. They don’t take non-conference games into account at all.

How about JMU and the winner of Tulane/North Texas?
November 30, 2025 at 4:42 AM
Any system where a game between teams with a combined conference record of 1-13 has bearing on the tiebreak procedure is dumb. The conference deserves to have no teams in the CFP. The hilarious result would be Miami getting in over ND and Duke winning the ACC and being passed over by JMU and Tulane
November 30, 2025 at 3:28 AM
… and if they win the league the ACC may get shut out of the CFP. All because the league thinks a game between teams with a combined conference record of 1-13 should have a bearing on the tiebreak procedure.
November 30, 2025 at 3:15 AM
The hilarious result would be for Auburn to come back and beat Alabama, and the committee puts Miami in over ND, while Duke wins the ACC but gets passed over - so the ACC gets only the Hurricanes in
