Or maybe both.
The thing about the "I voted against this" position Schumer is taking is that either he is trying to mislead Dem voters by implying he didn't support reopening right now, or he has no control over his caucus.

It’s not super top secret at all. Trump laid it out: Instead of giving the money to the insurance companies, we’ll just just give the money back to the people.
His plan is…wait for it…another tax cut!

Just one example proving that the #floridation system is used to erase all our memories:
Nobody remembers what a good President Jimmy Carter was.
#ConspiracyTheories
Of course, using the #floridation scam to erase people’s memory is nothing new. There’s a whole bunch of things nobody remembers because fluoridation was used to erase our memories.

Wait, shouldn’t those “White House officials” be furious at the President?
Advisers advise; Presidents decide.
And this President set up the system where random people can stick a bug in his ear (only to pop out of his mouth a couple days later).
‘Sold POTUS a bill of goods’: WH furious with Pulte over 50-year mortgage
The White House was blindsided by the idea and is now dealing with a furious backlash from conservative allies, business leaders and lawmakers.

I listened to you together on @thebulwark.com today.
I have a lot of respect for your smarts, but I think you ignored a crucial point:
Trump will take 1 clear lesson from the last 40 days; Never give in on anything. Everybody else will always fold.
November 11, 2025 at 2:47 AM
Perhaps when he says “We have $20 Trillion coming in” he’s referring to his family’s income, not govt revenues.
INGRAHAM: “Why are people saying they’re anxious about the economy?”

TRUMP: “The polls are fake 🤥. The economy is the strongest ever 🤥. We have $20 Trillion coming in 🤥 . Largely because of the tariffs 🤥.”

Every sentence is a lie.

Maybe @nancypelosi.bsky.social could become leader of the Senate Dems.
I hear the job’s about to become vacant.
And she’s about to have lots of free time.

You know you’re doing something right when Trump is NOT HAPPY WITH YOU.
Hope air traffic controllers wear it as a badge of honour.
You have one of the hardest jobs in existence & he made it worse.
Trump: All Air Traffic Controllers must get back to work, NOW!!! Anyone who doesn’t will be substantially “docked.”… I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU.

I thought one of the selling points of authoritarian governments was that they were more efficient than messy, slow, frustrating open democracy.
If true, why do they need bailing out?

Sen. Thune promises to keep his word.
Not to vote for an ACA extension, of course, only to allow one to happen.
They’ve traded their cow for some magic beans.
Only, this time, there’s not going to be any beanstalk, no gold treasure, & no giant is going to be defeated.
Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

Senate Democrats who defected in shutdown vote: ‘This was the only deal’ www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Maybe that was the only deal available now.
But in another week US flights would have been at a near standstill & the Republicans would have been desperate for a deal.

Good for them. The more often this kind of thing can be repeated on the ground, the more Republicans will see Trump as electoral poison.

Thats not true!
All REAL Americans are actually healthier & wealthier (& wiser).
It’s only #FakeAmericans like Newson who are spreading the sicker/poorer lie.
Donald Trump said he'd make Americans healthier and wealthier.

10 months in, we're poorer and sicker.

I can prove this #ConspircyTheory is true:
They were all over the internet last year at Halloween, but #JillBiden’s minions in the #DeepState had them scrubbed.
And then #floridation in the water is actually a means to scrub everyone’s memory.
#ConspiracyTheory 6 on why “appearing” is exactly the right word:
These are actually pictures of #SleepyJoe Biden in a Trump Halloween mask. They were taken on previous Halloweens. posted online at the time.
