NZF was 6.08% party vote in 2023, with no electorate MPs. Winston has been the architect of all its stints in govt & returns to govt. Without him, they’ll struggle & they’ve really failed to set up any convincing new potential leadership.

I think NZF is gone without Winston. Jones has tried to emulate Winston’s populism but he doesn’t have the skill.
