Israel could assassinate a foreign head of state, say that they thought Hamas was hiding in them, and the American right would give it a pass. It's fascinating how they can do absolutely anything "because Hamas", but if you criticize them you must just hate all Jews.

Hah, the YouTube channel Cambrian Chronicles did an episode about cat laws in medieval Wales, and there was a lot of stuff like that. Tremendous to see that Ireland was also codifying cat values.

Getting compared to Samwise Gamgee is the best thing a person could ask for. Mumen Rider is also excellent.

That's really interesting. I never really considered the odd "construction" of that book, and I quite literally have a copy of it in my living room for my toddler son. Awesome article, and I appreciate you having posted it here where I then found it.

Honestly, pretty much the same picks I would make given the bracket. I would absolutely put World at the top, too.

This is fantastic. Poor Munji and her teefs though. All torties must come with one curse to offset their intense cuteness. And I say this as someone who has a tortie of my own.

Yeah, on one hand I'm not happy that my personal investments have basically lost all of the gains I got during Biden's presidency. But at least they're losing billions because they endorsed an idiot who doesn't know anything about economics and got what he said he'd deliver.

I would think that the Danes' "religion" being a loose Germanic/Norse belief system would make it a lot less existential than a more codified system. Not likely to try and stamp out the local Christianity, especially without mass migration to dilute the percentage of believers.

Honestly, yeah. I was going to say that they should put raisins in more cereals, but it occurred to me that I could just take some from my giant bag of raisins and make my own Frosted Flakes + Raisins or whatever.

Honestly, I probably would have liked it as one of the few people who enjoys Raisin Bran, but I'm not surprised it didn't last long.
