The Behn ad tells voters nothing about who she is, which seems like an odd approach given that her own recent poll showed almost half the voters in TN7 haven't heard of her. But she does come off as human in her spot, unlike the robotic pomposity of Van Epps in his ad. [3/3]

Meanwhile Aftyn Behn dropped first ad on socials, no sign yet of buy behind it (doesn't mean hasn't happened given challenges w/ FCC filings). It's an odd spot - trying to be clever + whimsical? - but strikes me as cornpone and makes TN voters out to be hayseeds. [2/3]

Not yet. First pre-primary FEC filing deadline is 9/25 (close of books 9/17) so we'll have data in a couple of weeks.
