Posting things here, but perhaps rather slowly and quietly.
This hasn't exactly been a colourful series of drawings so far, I admit; the latest animal I've drawn being a skunk hardly changes that, I guess. I did think about colouring the nose and ears pink for some reason, though, but ended up just using black instead.

I've drawn both of my other pirate characters together before, and now here are their counterparts; it seems Commodore Lita and Commander Quart find warm, sunny days to be much more of a struggle than those other two probably do, which might explain the lack of clothing there.

Before I even first drew Bru Badger, my fursona (who was originally called Bruno Meles), I came up with this character. I guess the way I've drawn Roocan here kind of resembles the "simple" style I've used for him and some of my other characters a few times in the past.

I think I've drawn Grenley as some kind of wizard instead of his usual knight-like self at least once for each design I've used for him now, which seems to have got me wondering if things like magic and potions might work better for him somehow than swords and shields.

Even this character, Grampian, is getting animated now. It seems this GIF is from the perspective of his opponent getting repeatedly headbutted by him; I guess I felt like most actual wrestling moves might be difficult to animate, but this seemed like a pretty goat-like attack.

Along with non-anthro animals, another species of which I've drawn here, I'd been thinking that vehicles are something else I could do with some more practice in trying to draw; I drew Roocan driving his pickup truck recently, and this pic also happens to feature a raccoon.

That jungle girl's back again after I got this idea for a little sequence involving her which I've drawn here. Having her (probably involuntarily) transform into a hippo might seem pretty bizarre, but I guess it does bring her closer to the kind of stuff I usually draw in a way.

A few months after starting to draw regularly all the way back in 2008, I kind of made a conscious decision to change my style somewhat; maybe if I hadn't done so, the way I draw might've developed so that Bru Badger would look like this normally rather than tentatively here.

I guess I can't really say this pic of Les is anything completely new or original, but maybe it is a rare instance of his apparent obsession with food having expected consequences. He may not worry about stomach aches, but perhaps he should've expected brain freeze here.

It's that panda couple again, but it looks like these two have swapped species here, with Sophie now a red panda and Jack the giant kind. I seem to go with "parallel universe" stuff like this when I'm short on ideas; alternatively, they might be Oliver's aunt and uncle instead.

Lieutenant Pint meets his counterpart of sorts in Commander Quart here in a pic featuring both of these pirate sidekick birds. Maybe this drawing might've looked a bit tidier if I hadn't spent so much time erasing and redrawing stuff here, but I didn't want to waste paper.

After spending most of the previous month being indecisive about what to draw next and basically stalling by essentially completing unfinished pics, I started thinking that "feral" animals might be something I should draw more often; here's a badger, but not an "anthro" one.

I thought I should come up with a name for this Wide Wallaby character I adopted, as well as draw her again. I'm calling her Wendi, I think; I guess her baby can't be seen at this angle, unlike the one I drew both wallabies at previously. That character probably needs naming too.

Before drawing the pic of Les and Arno entitled "Animal Calls" I actually started sketching them in the experimental style I used earlier until I decided to use my regular style instead. I didn't colour these sketches like the others, but I still thought I'd finish them somewhat.

This pic I did for Halloween is being posted even earlier in the year than my last one; it features Airi the raccoon dog, who perhaps is acting rather dog-like here. I guess this idea seemed quite fitting for her, and I suppose it's also one I haven't already gone with before.

The animation I made here features Claudia; I only really meant to animate her eyes, but it seems like the rest of her facial features have turned out possibly appearing to be even more animated. I duplicated both frames in which her pupils are positioned at either side.

I decided to use Microsoft's own Paint software for the digital inking of this drawing of a big armadillo here. When I previously used it a while ago in Windows 11, I noticed it wasn't able to actually save multiple layers, but it seems an update at some point changed things.

There's an old drawing of Claudia that I've wanted to redraw for a while now, mostly due to a change in character design. It's like with Kate; I even drew this on the same sketchbook page as that pic, which also happens to basically be of a fat girl with a drink on some beach...

I used FireAlpaca to digitally add linework to a sketch of the little opossum I've drawn a few times before. It seems this software's pen tool draws lines of consistent thickness by default, though I guess I haven't really figured out how to get different kinds of lines with it.

I confess that I haven't really managed to draw anything new to be posted around this time, but I guess it has become expected of me by now. It may seem like I'm taking a break, but I found a bunny drawing I'd made but wasn't thinking of posting, which I then tidied up.

I guess it's fair to say there's more to science fiction than tight-fitting space suits, so I tried drawing something different for Dumps to wear; I wanted to see if I could design a more complex outfit than the rather simple ones that my characters always seem to have.
October 13, 2025 at 10:41 PM
I digitally inked this drawing of that thin deer in GIMP. The lines made by its ink tool seem to vary slightly in width within certain ranges, but I guess it was hard for me to find one that was of the average thickness I wanted; I ended up going with the default settings anyway.

It'll probably look pretty empty here now, but I guess this arena hosting a wrestling show likely featuring Grampian might fill up soon. I admit I was feeling tired when doing most of the initial sketching for this pic, and it seems to have left me little time to add much detail.
