208 is a three phase standard voltage that you don't see in residential service. A 208v phase-to-phase service is 120v phase-to-neutral. Commercial and industrial buildings are supplied with three phase power typically, so you'll see 208Y120 on transformers at a McDs. Never at a house though.

110/220 is still in spec for most devices. In fact, most things will work just fine in Mexico with its 127 volt standard.
