Today we also watched Home Alone. Despite the unfathomable child neglect (and an ease of air travel that seems unreal in 2024) this is a really fun movie. How is this entire family so shitty to an 8 year old though?!

Okay, this one might be controversial. Frosty the Snowman. I realize it is a classic, and the story is fine, I'm just not a big fan of this one, and I kind of think Frosty is annoying. Sorry.

Next up is the Muppet Christmas Carol. A classic, and my personal favorite. Michael Caine treats this film like the high art it is. It has everything. Songs, Muppets, anti-capitalist themes. It's the best.

First up is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. This one is a family tradition, so there is a lot of nostalgia with it. There are definitely some parts that didn't age well, but it still has some of the best bits.
