Restore 2 of the east bound lanes on Pakuranga Road to a straight through configuration. The left one can bus/transit and straight through with no lights. This also enables a traffic island to go into the middle of the intersection to better guide traffic.

This project isn't a new road build. It's a flyover to allow for better bus services.

This isn't that. They took three straight lanes and choked them down to two with a 90 degree bend. Not even buses get to use one of the old straight through lanes which has just been concreted over.
