After the Mariners run, I'm not sure her trailing after Monday will be good for my blood pressure

Hey do you think this latest drop was enough to give Bruce a bad weekend?
November 8, 2025 at 12:03 AM
It seems really unfair to have to wait til Monday
November 8, 2025 at 12:01 AM
I'm right there with ya

After reading this, I am honestly shocked and pleased that this country can produce politicians with her background. Maybe only in Seattle!

It's said a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich. Maybe they tried the wrong accomplice!

We did it, Joe!!!

Yes

Was thinking about how while true that Wilson is not the same kind of charismatic as Mamdani, maybe in Seattle earnest wonkiness resonates the same way with voters.

This is it. The council calvinball on social housing and mayor mailers got me doorknocking on 1A and got Katie in the race. We need Dems who solve problems, not rubber-stamp the Chamber.

This was a big surprise to me

Speaking personally, after the national election, and with the efforts of the council to water down social housing, I became convinced that in blue cities we need to build policies that solve problems. Chamber mouthpiece Dems stand in the way of that, and Bruce reminded me he was one.

She will be a great CM
August 6, 2025 at 4:26 AM
I think Bruce really read the room wrong when he became the face of anti-social housing. Poetic justice that it drew a strong challenger in Katie.

Ballots count if they are postmarked by 8pm tonight. This could change when the election is actually over

I haven't started the latest SNW but cancelled anyhow. I will say they make it really hard. I only was able to do it once I went thru their help chat and even that was a pain. Their roadblocks steeled my resolve.

Also because they might have won if they hadn't cleaved their base in twain in so doing
June 17, 2025 at 1:07 AM
I feel old that I get that reference
June 13, 2025 at 9:56 PM
I think this is right. I think the pushers of it are chasing the dream of disciplining all labor and they are gonna ruin a lot of things in that quest.

Didn't Biden leave a lot of Trump 1 tarrifs in place? I get this point, but I can also see a supine Dem party validating this path so firms avoid whiplash. And we just trudge along pariah state stagnation

I love how the mailer is like: "they haven't built any housing!!!" But let's give them city funding for it with 1b. (Which they honestly plan to claw back like Jump Start)

These people are also traumatized by visible homelessness- something caused by their hoarding of housing
