Not gonna lie this seems pretty bad at a glance. Most of my best decks would be a 1-2 and certainly don't belong there. I appreciate the idea but nothing will ever beat a good old pregame conversation

Love this. I run it with Othelm as an Abzan Blink/Aristocrats strategy. A couple sac outlets like Pod/Evolutionary Leap allow you to "build your own" blink effects with Othelm while also developing solid card advantage

I stand by the best decision they could make is to unban this card along side precons with it and announce that all precons going forward will have it. Not because I like the card but because it is the most effective way to screw these people over long term

It also doesn't mean that anyone should perform revisionist history and act like they weren't an awful person which I've seen too many times to count.

Assuming he wants to run Zaxara herself these all will play into the big Hydra theme nicely while adding dragons to the list

I'd assume that it's got more to do with aggro being disliked in commander than anything. In my experience, at least people tend to want to durdle around and do big flashy things forever more than anything.

Taunt from the Rampart is a personal favorite for sure! I run it in Ceasar and I don't think I've ever lost a game that I cast it.

Opening up opponents is such a huge deal. This with any kind of Goad effects can do so much work at keeping you safe while speeding up games

Honestly I kind of hope they unban it but give it the Sol Ring treatment and shove it in every precon so it plummets in value even more.

It's a shame because there's some cards in them I really love but I feel so burned having invested so much into modern just to get priced out of it again so fast.
