I think it means something about the north wind? There’s this specific wind change that traditionally marks the “onset of winter.”
In addition, in the agricultural/seasonal calendar, from mid to end of Nov, winter is indicated.
Tokyo is much too warm now but 20yrs ago this still made sense…

She’s already appointed a woo woo conspiracy theorist to her cabinet and is aiming to destroy laws protecting workers from deadly overwork. So I think she’s doing exactly what I thought she’d do so far.
My advice is to stop giving Hitler admiring bigots the benefit of the doubt b/c of their gender.

I say this with all sincerity, do not stop speaking about USAID. But also do not stop speaking about USIP, IRI, HIAS, KIND, IFES, and others.

It wasn’t just USAID. The budget also funded tens of thousands of workers at NGOs and other related orgs that partner with USAID. All of them have been decimated. Most employees who were fired, usually with only hours’ notice, have not found new jobs. We lost a generation of public servants.

That’s a Pilates machine (you can’t really use it by yourself) and it’ll kick your butt.
I do a Pilates-weights menu 2x a month with my PT (the other days are all weights) and the muscle aches afterward are incredible😂
