I've got the live stream of the corpse flower on in the background today and I can confidently say it's giving the appropriate ambiance for my current task (condensing 15 pages of scrawled notes from my boss down to 1 page).

The flower in in the centre of the screen, backed by red curtains. Other green plants of various varieties surround the flower. A small whisp of dry ice or mist or something like that cascades over the base in front. The tops of people's heads can be seen at the bottom of the screen. They're examining the flower, waiting for it to open.

Vimes moves ever so swiftly between silently judging and "helping" me work.
A gorgeous tabby cat sits on a window sill peering at the camera through various items on a desk. Items include a mug with pictures of Japanese cats on it filled pens, pencils and a pair of yellow handles scissors, a small vase (empty) and various desk knick knacks such as a magnet from the Witches museum in Boscastle, a small painted bust of Nanny Ogg and a white 3D printed triceratops skull. These items sit on a base of a silver desk lamp, out of view. Picture shows the rear of a rotund tabby cat sitting on a desk, looking out the window beyond. His ample fuzzy saddle bags partially cover a computer mouse and notepad so they can't be used at all without displacing him. He doesn't care.

We have SO MUCH basil in the garden!!! Grateful for any recipes that aren't pesto, caprese salad, or Thai basil chicken (they're already on the menu 🤤) 🙏🍃

Our garden may look overgrown and unkempt, but I'd rather be surrounded by an environment that makes birds, bees and bugs happy than have to look at a boring manicured lawn everyday.
