We live on the homelands of the Hinono’eiteen, Tsitsistas, & Nú-uci, known more widely as the Arapaho, the Cheyenne, and the Ute tribes.
Caucus is how candidates get ON the primary ballot if they cannot afford the costs to get the tens of thousands of signatures they need for some positions.

You can absolutely vote in whichever primary you want as UA, but there are Dem candidates that won't be on that ballot if they don't win caucus

And absolutely remain UA reg, that's a very valid and normal choice. But be aware that if there's a Dem candidate you truly like and want to see succeed, if they go through the caucus process instead of Petition you may never see them on a primary ballot if you don't go to caucus to fight for them.

I (Sasha, chair of the county party) am by no means an advocate of the C&A process, we need to change the whole process. But it's what we have for now and I am responsible for making it work.

The more people who attend with passion and drive, the better the candidates we get on a primary ballot.

If a scrappy young socialist Dem candidate wanted to challenge an incumbent senator they would need to get enough caucus support to make it on the primary ballot before any Unaffiliated voters would get to choose them.

OR they would need an exhaustive amt of $$$ and energy/time to get signatures.

Caucus also impacts our statewides like governor, attorney general, etc. and state school board and CU Regents.

An at-large board member would have to get 50,000 signatures statewide to petition onto the ballot. (it's a system designed to push people to the caucus process)
