Met a wonderful lady at a party last night who overheard that I had a bunch of Volvos and she's currently trying to let go of her XC90 V8. Says it needs new cats but there're no CARB-approved offerings.

I need a freaking lift
The wagon has a bad axle, and from what I can tell, the spare axles I have for the manual transmission cars will fit, though they are quite a bit beefier.
I'm going to do tie-rod ends and control arms while I'm in there. Then get that thing a nice fresh alignment before I put the new tires on.

This came just in time. Down the street from where I requested the same conditions arose, so not sure if it's that particular driver who caused this.

Boat update: got the trailer registered but the boat hasn't been registered in almost 10 years and dropped off the DMV system. Thankfully I went to a DMV services provider and they are going to walk the title in to get it all done.
The hope is that it might end up saving me money on registration..

Made some more headway on the Delta Decay. This forced rotation dual action is an arms- and shoulders-melting beast. I could only get through like a 2x6 ft patch before calling it a day.

Do any of the gearheads know why there's been a shift from the cost of premium from only being like 20 cents or more a gallon over regular to now being 80 cents a gallon more?

The interior needs another day of elbow grease and then I'll move onto shining up the exterior. It's gonna be a little while before I can get a lower unit for that out drive but we're off to a great start so far.

I think I wanna name the Cobalt 'Isotope' as a riff on the highly radioactive Cobalt-60, or would that be too nerdy? It sure would sound funny over the radio, but I also don't need the USNRC dropping by.
