PANEL 1: Bird Slamzone standing on a shelf to look at a higher shelf of towels in the bathroom. BIRD: "MOMMMMM! ALL THE GOOD TOWELS ARE DIRTY!" NARRATOR: "Bird Slamzone, legally distinct cool boy, is deep in the Slamzone family linen closet, digging through the geological layers of threadbare washcloths and hand towels no one will use nor throw away..." PANEL 2: Bird pops his head out the bathroom door to better yell down the hallway. BIRD: "MOMMMMM! ALL THE GOOD TOWELS ARE DIRTY! I don't wanna use a SHITTY one!" PANEL 3: Bird's mother halfway entering the living room but stopped, staring at him. PANEL 4: Slightly closer view of Bird's mother standing halfway in the room. She's closed her eyes and her hand has gone to her face. PANEL 5: Bird popped out of the bathroom door again. BIRD: "'I'm too depressed, Bird, you'll have to figure it out yourself!' Okay well don't ever call me 'selfish' ever again!" PANEL 1: Bird, naked, reaching up onto higher higher shelves of the linen closet. BIRD: "This sucks shit! I wish I got to just 'be sad' and DO NOTHING!" PANEL 2: Bird, examining two Christmas towels. BIRD: "Maybe if I layer enough of the embroidered holiday ones..." PANEL 3: A double-wide panel. Liddy Slamzone is beating on the bathroom door, furious, Bird is on the other side, still gathering hand towels. LIDDY: "BIRD SLAMZONE, YOU GET OUT HERE THIS INSTANT!" BIRD: "Lids, my balls and donger are fully out here, man. If you're burnin' a mule, go use Dad's bathroom or the yard!" PANEL 4: Liddy shouting. LIDDY: "I don't need to shit, you little CRETIN -- I need you to apologize to our mom! She's inconsolable AGAIN!" PANEL 5: Bird pressing his face right up to the door and shouting into his cupped hands. BIRD: "'The deeper the hole in my mother's heart, the bigger the jewels in her crown needed to be!' You re-nob!" PANEL 1: Liddy shouting outside the bathroom door still. LIDDY: "How DARE you quote Alice Miller's The Drama of the Gifted Child at me?! You aren't even GIFTED!" PANEL 2: Bird now laying out holiday hand towels on the floor to make a thicker sort of layered towel. BIRD: "I'm gifted enough to figure out how to make my own towels in a house of despair!" PANEL 3: Father Slamzone bursts into the hallway shouting at the children. FATHER: "Why are you little monsters screaming!? Can't you see your mother is inconsolable again?" PANEL 4: The same shot of the living room from page 1, now the mother has sunk closer to the floor and is shaking with sobs. PANEL 5: Father Slamzone kneels down to level with Liddy. FATHER: "Liddy, I expect this kind of inconsiderate behavior from Bird -- all he has is his cool boy ironic detachment. But because you get good grades, you have to be a JUNIOR PARENT." PANEL 6: Bird, still layering towels, looking sad as he hears through the doorway. FATHER (on the other side of the door): "And sometimes being a Junior Parent means knowing your mommy no longer wants to be alive and swallowing that awful fact deep down so you can work EXTRA HARD to keep everything else HAPPY AND NORMAL." PANEL 1: Bird Slamzone, partially submerged in the tub, staring at his belly peeping out of the sudsy water. PANEL 2: Bird Slamzone toweling off with the thin, embroidered, insufficient towels, muttering to himself. BIRD(muttered): "You're the one with ironic detachment. Fucker." PANEL 3: Bird Slamzone, hair still wet, peering out the bathroom door and into the living room again. PANEL 4: The same shot of the living room, later in the day. Bird's mother is no longer sobbing behind the couch. Instead, voices are coming from the other room. VOICE 1: "And then it's just subtraction--" VOICE 2: "A LOT of subtraction" VOICE 3: "Hahaha" PANEL 5: Bird Slamzone standing in the doorway to the kitchen, still dripping wet, wearing a "Shit Happens" t-shirt. Liddy and their mother and father are all sitting at the kitchen table. There are a bunch of papers spread out. FATHER: "Come in, boy! Your mother's feeling much better!" MOTHER: "I just got confused is all!" LIDDY: "Mom and Dad are teaching me how to pay bills!" BIRD: "The bathroom's all wet n' there are towels all over..." PANEL 6: Bird's mother moves out a chair from the table ant pats it. She has a shaky smile. MOTHER: "We can worry about all that later, Bird. For now just sit here and give us a laugh."

Finally swapped out the scrap of fabric I had hanging in my window and the thick black flannel taped over my back door with some cute curtains I made!

I'm so happy with how much more light is coming into the kitchen now! It was like a cave before

SIGH ive been in a bad mood at work lately bc im feeling overworked and im stressed bc im at the moment the employee who knows the most and ive been training 2 new people at the same time and doing tons of work that other people cant, wont, or dont know how to do and im honestly sick of it!!!!!!!!!!

only 2 episodes in on xavier renegade angel and its incredibly entertaining so far im glad i chose this show to watch rn.

But i was surprised to see that its only 20 episodes? it seems so iconic i thought there'd be at least 3 seasons

Tried a new method of screen printing using vinyl and it worked great!

Only downside is that it's single use so I'd have to make sure to do big batches to not be wasteful

im DYING to learn how to make plushies myself. The applique dolls ive been working on are my "this is what i can do w/ my skills now" take on that, but ive always wanted to sew even a medium quality plush of an oc or a super specific character from a show
