I do the same thing! The 4th Ave. bike lane is worse than 5th even with near constant double parking. The issue with 3rd Ave. is that 80 people have been killed or seriously injured in just the Sunset Park stretch since 2018. We need the CB7 approved street improvement that Adams has stalled.

I walked this last week and was very disappointed. DOT promised us a complete redesign of 3rd Ave. Instead we got a patchy bikeway carved out of the pedestrian space.
