It was never a question. Autism runs in my family. There’s a rare gene that causes it. I never doubted my son’s abilities or his chances at having a great life. I’ve always been ashamed at humanity for making anyone feel that they should doubt themselves like that.

It’s a scary time to be neurodivergent in general with the open threats of ‘wellness camps’ and whatnot. While Autism is a superpower and an amazing strength, I fear for my son’s future but I am also preparing myself to protect him as I have always done and will always do so!

Funny how research and science can advance the way people are diagnosed….but no, it’s the vaccines or in the water (nah, my son definitely didn’t get his autism from a rare gene or anything) but let’s spread measles and misinformation in the meantime 🤦‍♀️ I will continue to spread awareness ✌️
