Yesterday I was told I have degenerative disc disease in my spine. The first time I sought help for back pain was 10 years. That doctor looked at me and said “Well, you’re grossly obese so that’s why your back hurts.” I weighed 150 lbs back then. But even if I had weighed more, I deserved better.

Well one thing is incredibly clear after the first day: this is not a “Pro-Life” administration, this is a Pro-Death administration.

Sometimes I forget how odd some of my decor is until we have “outsiders” at the house, usually people doing work. It’s worse than usual right now since the house is torn apart for packing so I found myself apologizing for the multitude of dicks everywhere. 😅

At the point in packing where I’m dropping boxes in rooms and dropping items in as I wander back and forth. Moving a household full of ND people is an adventure, to say the least.

Y’all… your fireworks can still set things on fire after you’re finished with them. Just put out a fire at a neighbor’s because we were driving home and the box of “dead” ones they’d left out was an inferno.

That’s one job that I can say I’ll truly miss! But it’s time to look to the future after I get my house packed up and we get moved.
