Finally finished McGlue. I think I often feel insecure about my read on something psychologically muddy, but felt validated by Moshfegh’s interview in @therumpus.bsky.social

All in all, this was a compressed version of Margaret Vandenburg’s class on Moby Dick, and Vandenburg is a true genius
