Yes this is a distraction tactic, and also a dangerous PROPAGANDA strategy. People on the fence or in MAGA see this language and feel validated and encouraged to act. People affected (or with any compassion) read this and feel threatened. We are being set up to fight.

Does anyone know if private funding streams for public health are being stood up?
Like planned parenthood or even NPR type financial modeling. I can’t stomach the impacts if we just wait for the govt to get themselves back together. Trust has been eroded.
